She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jerri Summers, James (Miller) and Phillip Carte. She is survived by: her husband Jack Fields; her children, Wayne Hill and Brook Buzzard (Jackie Buzzard); her grandchildren, Heather Prather, Willow Hill, Sophie Taylor and Spencer Taylor; her stepchildren, Cassie Russell, Adam Fields and Felicia Bolanos; her mother Nona Carte; her sister-in-law Deana Carte; William Stephenson (Peggy Stephenson), Patricia Carte, Teresa Bird and Starlett Miller. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Smith Funeral Home (154 Main St, Clay, WV 25043). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the Murphy Cemetery.
