She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Nicholas Henderson and Marjory McKinney Henderson; and her aunt Gertrude "Tudie" McKinney Shaffer. She is survived by: her uncle Ralph Vincent Shaffer; her sister Winifred Kay "Wynne" Shaffer Proudfoot; her siblings-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Proudfoot of Grafton and Kathy Shaffer of Huntington; her nephews, Chad N. Proudfoot and Darrel "Rocky" Loughry (Kathy) of Grafton; and her close friends, Kathy Green, Edith Fitzwater and Allison Fitzwater of Grafton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Virginia National Cemetery (42 Veterans Memorial Ln, Grafton, WV 26354).
