He was predeceased by: his parents, Creston C. Dobbins and Eunice Marie Bragg Dobbins; his siblings, Robert Dobbins, Roy Dobbins, Anna Jean Lucas, Betty Lockhart, Ronald Dobbins, Kent Dobbins, Linda Stine and Donnie Dobbins; and his close friend Buck Hamric.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Stout Dobbins; his sons, Brad Dobbins and Brian Dobbins; his granddaughters, Brandy Starcher (AJ), Cassi Bailey (William "Coy"), Brianna Dobbins and Ally Dobbins; his great grandchildren, Isaac Starcher, Grayson Starcher, Camry Bailey and Carson Bailey; and his sister Carolyn Patrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Roach Funeral Home (708 Braxton St, Gassaway, WV 26624). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at the Stout Cemetery.
