He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Ann Patton (Cobb); his daughter Jeanie Lynn Patton; and his siblings, Patricia Carpenter, Robin Patton, Lois Jean Fisher, Louie Patton and Barbara Elmore.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Mance (Patton); his grandsons, Timothy (Paige) and Joshua Mance; his son Larry Ray Patton; his grandchildren, Joseph Carte, Crieo Bishop (Megan), Ceiaira Patton and John Patton (Cassie); his great grandchildren, Makynlee, Ellie, Hattie, Victoria, Ryder, Rylie and Odin; his brothers, Kellar Patton and Mike Patton; and his close friend Sandy Sloan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stump-Matics Funeral Home-Clendenin Chapel (8539 Elk River Rd N, Clendenin, WV 25045). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Fairview Memory Gardens (Clendenin, WV 25045).
