She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Begler and Bethel Lee Smith Begler; her husband Oval Eugene Carper; her son Scott Eugene Carper; and her brother George David Begler.

She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Edward Carper (Joia) of St. Albans, WV; and her stepgrandson Kael Freeman.
