It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Regina Kaye Canterbury of Clendenin, West Virginia, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ray Layne and Juanita Branch Wiblin Layne of Quick; her husband Steve Canterbury; and her siblings, Timmy Layne and Vicki Hunter.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Whitman (Allen) of Winfield, Stephen Canterbury (Missi) of Wellsburg and Michael Canterbury of Clendenin; her sister Carolyn Garrett of Scott Depot; her caregiver Retha Taylor of Bickmore; and her grandchildren, Evan, Allie Whitman, Emily, Jessica Canterbury and Ethan Canterbury.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hubbard Hospice House, 1606 Kanawha Blvd., W. Charleston.
