He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hill and Dollie Myrel Knight Hill; his wife Margaret Gump Hill; and his sister Sheila Prahl. He is survived by: his children, Crystal, Thomas Anderson of Colfax, Greg and Lori Hill of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Jordane Hill, Quinton Hill (Makayla) and Hannah Harris (Ryne); his great grandchildren, Braelyn Sowell, Zian Sowell, Aurora Harris and Milani Hill; his stepgrandchildren, T. J. Anderson and Natasha Anderson; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brody Anderson, Easton Anderson and Brayden Lantz; and his caregiver Mary Michael.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ross Funeral Home (801 Fairmont Ave, Fairmont, WV 26554). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
