He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Copenhaver and Anna Copenhaver (Snyder); and his brothers, Rev. William Copenhaver, Duane Copenhaver and Jackie Lee "Jack" Copenhaver.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Copenhaver (Wilson); his children, Michael Copenhaver (Tina) of Fayetteville, NC, Kevin Copenhaver (Tiffany) of Barboursville, WV and Michelle Slusarz (Scott) of Brook Park, OH; his grandchildren, Brenton Copenhaver (Shannon), Alexa Jordan (Sam), Annie Copenhaver, Ally Copenhaver, Hannah Copenhaver, Emily Slusarz, Lindsey Copenhaver and Mason Slusarz; his great grandchildren, Lily Grace, Kaci Dawn, Henry, Hunter and Max; his sister Phyllis Aria of Colliers, WV; and his sister-in-law Joyce McFarland (Joe) of Follansbee, WV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
