With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chester Cline Farley Sr. of Cool Ridge, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Cletis Farley and Louisa Maude Farley; his wife Brenda Sue Farley; and his brothers, Lemuel Farley and Alvin McRay Farley.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Gail Bowles (John Sova) of Lexington, NC, Chester C. Farley, Jr. (Carson) of Durham, NC and Kimberly Sue Bailey (David) of Beckley, WV.; his grandchildren, Erica Nickels (AJ), Trevor Smith, Keira Bailey, Kyndra Bailey, Bryson Bowles, Weston Bowles and Kelsi Bailey; his siblings, Leslie Farley of Cool Ridge, Kenny Farley (Gale) of Cool Ridge, Melva Cales (Eddie) of Cool Ridge, Nadine Bragg of Cool Ridge, Pauline Lester of Cool Ridge, Thelma Simon (Ray) of China Grove, NC and Linda Nixon (Eli) of Cool Ridge; and his nephew Gary Wills (Judy) of Cool Ridge.
