He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Garland Cox, Sr. and Betty Simpson. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Cox, Lacy Cox III (Melinda), Joshua Cox (Ali) and Jonathan Cox; his grandchildren, Corey McGuire (Brittany), Gabe Cox, Andrew Cox and Lili Cox; and his great grandchild Ava McGuire.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cook's Chapel Cemetery.
