He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Boyd Dotson and Edna Frame Dotson; and his sons, Matthew Dotson and Jamie Dotson. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Boyd Dotson, III and Christopher Dotson; and his grandchildren, Olivia Dotson, McKenzie Dotson and Andrew Dotson.
