He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmel Ellis Sanson, Sr. and Myrtle Evelyn Selman; his sons, Dustin Ray Sanson and Shawn Allen Sanson; and his siblings, Carmel Sanson, Jr., Perry Sanson and Shannon Knowles.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Cool Sanson; and his siblings, Howard Sanson, Allen Sanson, Carol McCourt, Monica Hitt, Wavelene Ward and Wandalene Komorowski.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home (160 Railroad Ave W, Cowen, WV 26206). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
