He was predeceased by: his parents, William Adamy and Agatha Miller Adamy; and his daughter Teri Given. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Adamy; his siblings, Edith Hill and Bill Adamy (Sue); his grandchildren, Christopher Newman (Beth), Adam Newman (Mandy), Robby Newman (Kristin), Hunter Given (Ashley) and Logan Given (Amber); his great grandchildren, Lilia Newman, Eden Newman, Sadie Newman, Briar Newman and Andrew Given; and his siblings, Eugene Adamy, Agnes Short and Gayle Cutright.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Upper Glade Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 74, Upper Glade, WV 26266.
