He was predeceased by: his parents, Buell Strickland and Zelda Frame Strickland Poley; his stepfather Ross Poley; and his siblings, Joseph Strickland and Kista Strickland.
He is survived by: his sister Retta Dodrill (Rock) of Dillie; and his sister-in-law Sharon Strickland of Dillie.
His contributions to his profession, his steadfast beliefs, and his warm companionship are remembered with respect and admiration.
