It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Elaine Mick of Cowen, West Virginia, born in Richwood, West Virginia, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harley P. Grose and Rose Fleming Sparks; her husband George Wade Mick; and her brothers, Brent Grose and Jerry Prater.

She is survived by : her children, Jeffery Wade Mick (Sherry) of Cowen, Jennifer Mack (Ted) of North Carolina, Myrtle "Annie" Mick of Cowen and Jeanette Jeffries (Brian) of Cowen; her sisters, Sue O'Keefe, Janet Dean and Bonnie Mick; her grandchildren, Abbi Grooms (Luke), Miles Mack (Brittany) and Grace Mack; and her great grandchildren, Carter Grooms, Declan Grooms, Solomon Grooms, Kolton Mack and Ana Mack. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
