He was predeceased by: his parents, John Heck and Kate Claypool Heck; his daughter Mary Ann Heck; his brothers, Denzil Lee Heck and Paul Edward Heck; and his stepdaughters, Lisa Darlene Thayer and Sharon Suzanne White.
He is survived by: his wife Justine Dolores Heck; his sons, Mike Heck of Tennessee, Jeff (Libby Heck) and Kevin (Rose Heck); his stepson Larry Sanford of Cowen; his sisters, Anna Mae Miller of Craigsville and Mary Margaret Vanscoy of Huntington; and his grandchildren, Michelle Hemmer of Indiana, Jeffrey Heck Jr. of Virginia, Alex Nulter, Brandon Nulter of Cowen, Ashley Heck, David Heck, Zeke Heck, Kristen Sanford of Ohio, Edmond White of Morgantown and Zack White of Cowen. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
