He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William Short (Anna) and Arden Prater (Christine). He is survived by: his parents, Calvin Short and Martha Prater Short; his wife Lori Short; his daughters, Erica Short (Shane Chaffin) and Hailey Short (Casey Dennison); his brother Brian Short (Nova); his grandchildren, Mariah, Carson and Lilly; and his nephew Austin. He is also survived by co-workers, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home (160 Railroad Ave W, Cowen, WV 26206). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
