With sadness, we share the passing of Retha Hall (Cowen, West Virginia). Retha, born on August 11, 1936 in Erbacon, West Virginia, passed away on July 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayburn "Jack" Holcomb and Lela Holcomb. She is survived by: her children, Michael Holcomb of Erbacon and Linda Johnson (Russell) of Craigsville; her granddaughter Miranda Johnson (Aaron Kelley); her former husband Forrest Mathes; her husband Wayford Hinton Hall; and her brothers, Adrian "Jake" Holcomb and Ray Clinton "Mike" Holcomb.

Retha wished for any memorial contributions to be made to local animal shelters or activities at the Summersville Healthcare Center.
