He is survived by: his wife Areta Compton; his daughter Karen (Bill Spangler) of Beckley, WV; and his siblings, Junior (Barbara Compton) and Polly Green (Anasa Short) of Cowen, WV.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home (160 Railroad Ave W, Cowen, WV 26206).
