She was predeceased by : her husband Posie Allan Hill; her parents, William Monroe Horton and Ocal Elizabeth Canady Horton; her sons, Dudley Allan and Danny Calvin; and her siblings, William Virgil Horton, Ocal Helen Shumate and Janice Hope Dunlap.

She is survived by : her daughter Lila Jane Hill Morhard; and her brothers, Donald Edward Horton and Sherman Neil Horton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
