It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lou Ann Grose of Crab Orchard, West Virginia, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her parent Hope Yates of Crab Orchard; her son Lew Whitener (Carrie Greenberg) of Sugarcreek, OH; and her siblings, Fred Yates (Kim) of Bandon, OR and Ellen Jussen of Crab Orchard.

As a lifelong animal lover, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Raleigh County.
