She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Newman; her siblings, James, George, Donald Bell, Mildred Bell, Doris Wyatt, Evelyn Lilly, Ellison, Betty Ballard and Madeline "Madge" Snodgrass; her adoptive son John M. Newman; and her grandson Andrew A. Wingrove.
She is survived by: her daughter Terri Wingrove (Allen) of Crab Orchard; her sister Erma Vest of Cool Ridge; and her niece June Ballard of Beckley. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews.
