Ruth Ritchie Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ritchie of Craigsville, West Virginia, who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldridge "Tick" Canter and Virgie Mae Nolf Canter; her husband Lowell Elton Ritchie; and her sons, David Ritchie and Michael Ritchie.

She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Ritchie Winters of South Point, OH and Sandra Ritchie Davis (Lee) of Beaufort, NC; her daughter-in-law Barbara Ritchie of Cowen, WV; her grandchildren, Zachary Winters, Cierra Sands (Daniel Tuller), Laura Ritchie Snyder, Matthew Ritchie (Brittany) and Autumn Ritchie; her great grandchildren, Ava, Lelia and Landry Snyder; her grandchildren, Alexa, Jasper Winters, Harley Ritchie, Ailyna LaSpina and Lilianna Tuller; her sister Gladys Keener of Lorain, OH; and her siblings-in-law, George A. Ritchie (Bonnie) of Calvin, WV and Leah Ritchie Casto of Summersville, WV. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
