He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hunter and Mildred Hunter; his wife Dorothy "Sizemore" Hunter; his daughters, Terrie Grimmett and Donna Hunter; his siblings, Gilmer, Gary, Granville, Gaynel, Gerald, Gene Hunter and Garnet Hunter; and his daughter-in-law Linda "Charlette" Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Hunter (Pamela), David Hunter (Kathy), Teresa Shuck (Ronnie) and Tonia Hunter (Wanda); his son-in-law Barry Grimmett; his grandchildren, Erica Whitt (Ryan), April Herndon (Travis), Ashley Butler (Daniel), Mandy Cannon (Tom), LaTasha Owens (Brandon), Stephanie Worley (Jared), Brittany Radford (Jeremy), Amy Cantley (Will), Heather Bostic (Ryan) and John Cantley; his great grandchildren, Lindsey, Sara Whitt, Abby Seals (Jared), Julia Holliday (Kyle), Lucas Herndon, Ben, Melanie Butler, Cameron Cannon (Grace), Dana Cannon, Bryson, Abraham, Charleigh Owens, Cash, Charlee Worley, Kendal, Kadence, Paxton Radford and Jaylee Cantley; his great great grandchild Jameson Cannon; and his sisters, Gwenda Heaster (Doug), Gala Sheppard, Gilda Cary and Galena Knapp. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wallace & Wallace, Inc. (283 Main St, Rainelle, WV 25962). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to the Greenbrier Humane Society in Glen's name.
