He was predeceased by : his parents, Dennie Chaffin and Lola June Rose Chaffin; and his siblings, Clinton, Billy Ray and Pauline Chaffin.

He is survived by : his siblings, Troy Chaffin of Stottsville, OH, Eugene Chaffin of Wooster, OH, Lois Perry of Killbuck, OH, Mary Gage of Davisburg and Elmer Chaffin. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
