With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bishop Bryan J. Mathews (Culloden, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bishop Mathews and Fran Mathews; his sister Me'Chelle Garcia; and his nephew Travis Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Renee Mathews (Simmons); his children, Jordan Mathews (Makayla) and Destinee Gray (Tristen); his sister Crystal Mathews; his niece Erika Anderson; his nephews, Lee Lovejoy and Casey Garcia; Renee.
