Virginia Ruth Hager Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Ruth Hager of Culloden, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Virginia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Virginia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Jack Akers and Ruth Murphy Akers; her husband Ernest Hager; her children, Paula Hager and William Hager; and her grandchildren, Starr Damron and Ernest McClellan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Belinda Harris of Eleanor, Lori Baldwin of Grafton, Brenda McClellan of Milton, Susan Johnson of Milton and Eva Cunningham of Kentucky; and her sister Kay Gibson of Milton. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
