He was predeceased by: his parents, Ugal Critchley and Maggie Critchley; and his siblings, Vernon "Bo" Critchley and Della "Sissy" Critchley. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Jenny" Critchley; his children, Sherry, Shelia, Marty of Danese, Joe (Hannah) and Charlie (Staci) of Ansted; his grandchildren, Katlyn (Hunter), Connor, Kylee, Hayden, Makenzie, Bella and Leland; his great grandchild Jaxdyn Darrell; and his siblings, Joe (Debbie), Jerry, Jean (Donnie) and Faye (Dan).
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rainelle Chapel (283 Main St, Rainelle, WV 25962). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
