With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Austin Caperton III (Daniels, West Virginia), who passed away on April 30, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda. He is survived by: his friend Michelle Rotellini; his sons, Austin (Melissa) and Mason (Trevy); his grandchildren, Sam, William, Helena and Paxton; his siblings, Hugh (Kathy), John (Lisa), Adam (Stephanie) and Mary Clay (Randy); his close friend Amber Sellaro; Anna and Sophie.

Austin would be extremely pleased if any of his friends and family chose to donate to the Ballad Health Hospice House, whose amazing staff helped Austin and his family through the challenging end of life's journey with love, compassion, and respect.
