He was predeceased by : his parents, Jean Wilshire Jarrett and Dr. William Mitchell Jarrett; and his brother William Mitchell Jarrett II. He is survived by : his significant other Vicky Foley; his children, Jordan Jarrett (Megan Borak) and Allison Jarrett Zegeer (Andrew Zegeer); and his grandsons, John McCarus Zegeer (David Warren Zegeer) and Wrangler (Lapua).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Beckley Area Foundation.

“My deepest condolences to the family, especially to Jordan, who I had the privilege to know for a short period some years back. I look back at my years at Glade Springs and think fondly of the dozens and dozens of after-work golf games on the Cobb course and numerous Pro-Am Road trips.
