Pauline Ruth Lester Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pauline Ruth Lester of Davin, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Ellis and Vicie Ellis; her significant other Hibbert Ludell Lester; her son Kenneth "Bub" Lester; and her siblings, Anna Jean Porter, Leonard "Buddy" Ellis Jr. and Thurman Ellis.
She is survived by: her daughter Balinda Summers of Davin; her grandchildren, Haleigh Lester, Kenley Lester and Samuel Owen Summers; and her siblings, Mary Adkins, Linda Ellis Bailey, Yvonne Sutton, Rev. Paul, Judy Ellis, Rev. Johnny and Naomi Hatfield. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins along with a host of other relatives, church family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Davin Baptist Church (3431 Huff Crk Hwy, Davin, WV 25617). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
