He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Lola Frances Jones Eakle; his former wife Edna Eileen Wright Eakle; and his siblings, Edward Ray Eakle, Janice Ann Eakle Freshour, Charles Michael Eakle, Teddy Foye Eakle, Buddy Lewis Eakle, Jencie Eakle Jones, Tencie Pearl Eakle Reed and Daniel Anderson Eakle.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Sue Bungard Eakle.
