He was predeceased by: his parents, Mose Muncy and Elizabeth Goodman Riffe Muncy; his wife Gladys Payne Muncy; his siblings, William Harvey Muncy, John Muncy, Coburn Muncy, James H. Riffe, William Henry Riffe, Tamsy Moore, Mary Williams, Hazel Collins, Zetta Thompson and Martha Jane Muncy; his grandchildren, Aiden Chaffins and Jayden Chaffins; and his nephew Allen Butcher.
He is survived by: his daughter Scarlet (Kevin Chaffins); his grandchildren, Alexis, Hunter, Emma, Liam and Cora Chaffins; and his nieces, Bonnie Sparks, Kathy Allen and Crystal Green.
