He was predeceased by: his parents, Dayton Wilkins and Minnie Wilkins (Shipe); his brother Clifton Wilkins, Jr.; and his daughter Teresa Swisher. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Wilkins (Miller); his children, Vickie Bogdanowicz (Joe) of Glen Burnie, MD, Michael Wilkins (Christina) of Augusta, WV, Ray F. Wilkins, Jr. (Erin) of Cumberland, MD, Steven Wilkins (Mandy) of Ridgeley, WV and Tammie Richards (Kevin) of Augusta, WV; his son-in-law Doug Swisher of Augusta, WV; and his brother Eddie Wilkins of Broadway, VA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKee Funeral Home Chapel (16700 Northwestern pike, Augusta, WV 26704). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McKee Funeral Home to help with expenses.
