He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis E. Stout and Eva Kelly Stout; his siblings, Clarence, Howard, Arden, Arthur "John", Virginia Stout, Lula McIe, Mamie Anderson, Nina Cunningham and Dorothy "Dot" Young; his sons, Arley and Willard "Bill"; and his grandsons, Michael Fisher, Levi and Zachary Stout.
He is survived by: his wife Glada E. Stout of Diana, WV; and his children, Jimmy (Karen) of Webster Springs, WV, James (Laura) of Mt. Lookout, WV, Doris of Diana, WV, Nancy of Diana, WV, Nina of Diana, WV, Carol of Buckhannon, WV and Lucille "Lucy" Waters of Fairmont, WV.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
