It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Ray Hensley of Dingess, West Virginia, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Messer and Evelyn Messer of Dingess; his children, Melissa Hensley, Paul and Michael Hensley; and his siblings, Katie Bryant, Jewell Vance and Michael Messer.

He is survived by: his children, James Hensley, Danny Hensley and Donna Sue Workman; and his siblings, James Messer (Mary) and Sadie Browning (Teddy). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
