With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Camilla Bird of Dixie, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Camilla left this world on December 18, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grafton Hypes and Julia Hypes; her husband Willie Ray Bird; and her siblings, Colleen Miller and Dale Hypes.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Bird (Sharon) of Gauley Bridge, Steve Bird (Cindy) of Left Hand, Elaine Newland of Lizemores, Diana Legg (John) of Fola, Linda Bird Sizemore of Dixie, Vicki Bird Wilson (Donnie) of Chapel Hill, Tenn, Julie Bird of Dixie and Jacqueline Bird Anderson (Randy) of Catlettsburg, KY.; and her brother Danny Hypes of Robertsville, Ohio.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter in Camilla's honor.
