Phyllis Elswick Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Elswick of Dixie, West Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Cogar and Freda Nichols Cogar; her husband George Elswick; and her sister Debbie Donahue. She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Patty) of Mt. Nebo, Mark (Audrey) of Dixie and Jeff (Kelly) of Charleton Heights; her grandchildren, Morgan, Caleb, Lindsey, Kristen, Jacob, Jonah, Jenna, Abby, Matteo of Chris, J. T. and Taylor; her brothers, Carl (Judy), Doug (Tracy) and Randy; and her brother-in-law Jerry Donahue.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pennington Smith Funeral Home (331 Main St, Gauley Bridge, WV 25085). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern WV.
