He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvle Toney and John; his wife Joan Ellen Toney; his daughter Brandy Toney; his siblings, Tom Toney and Sue McDaniels (Whitey); and his nephew Mike McDaniels.
He is survived by: his children, Anna Sumpter, Shelia Warden and David Toney; his brothers, Lum Toney and Red Toney; his grandchildren, Colton Balderson, Thomas Balderson, Nathan Sprague, Natasha Farnsworth, Iesha McFadden, Gary McFadden, JD Toney and Jacob Toney; and his great grandchild Columbiannah Domino.
