He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Sue Scarbrough; his grandparents, Vinten Scarbro, Daisy Scarbro, Chester Coleman and Vida Coleman; his uncles, Phillip Scarbrough, James Coleman (Buster), William Coleman (Willie) and Carrell Coleman; his aunt Marcela Wriston; and his cousin Rodney Pittman.

He is survived by: his father David Keith Scarbrough, Sr.; his wife Cynthia Ward Scarbrough; his children, Tiffany Scarbrough, Tara Foster, Brittny Drennen and Brian Livdur; his grandchildren, Kyliegh, Jaxon, Caden, Presley Drennen, Brianna, Shania, Brian, Faith, Amira and Bella Livdur; his siblings, Michelle Nuckels (Allen Nuckels), David Scarbrough Jr. (Sandra Scarbrough) and Darrell Scarbrough; his parents-in-law, Gene and Mary Ann Ward; his siblings-in-law, Sissy Ward, Sherry Coleman and Michael Ward; and his grandchildren, Taylee and Stevie.
