She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Kay and Anna Sovine Kay; her husband Britt Legg; and her siblings, Frank, Danny Kay and Connie Vowell.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Petry and Larry Legg (Kathy); her siblings, John Kay (Barbara) and Margaret Comer; her sister-in-law Jackie Kay; her grandchildren, Chad Petry (Sarah), Chase Petry (Courtney), Brooke Legg (Geoff) and Ethan Legg (Lily); her great grandchildren, Clayton, Hudson, Miller and Turner; Ken Hartman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Keller Funeral Home (1236 Myers Ave, Dunbar, WV 25064). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the Nitro Church of the Nazarene for mission projects at 1107 Main Avenue, Nitro, WV 25143 c/o Vi Long, Church Secretary.
