We are sad to announce that, on March 13, 2026, at the age of 79, Daniel Keith Stricklen of Dunbar, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Daniel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his mother Wilma Sampson; his stepfather Silas Sampson; and his siblings, Gwendolyn "Kay" Fields and Earl Sampson. He is survived by: his close friend Holly Morris; and his sister Ruth Taylor.
