It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Joseph Sloan (Dunbar, West Virginia), who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Sloan and Irene Sloan of Irish Descent; and his siblings, Frances, Lawrence, Robert, Hugh, Thomas and Richard.

He is survived by: his wife Rita G. Sloan; his nieces, Debbie and Elizabeth; his nephew Richard Sloan, Jr.; and his friends, Doug, Anita Kirk, Margaret Mazzella, Billy Weaver, Freda Price, Nancy Riser, Ros Wallace, Tiffany Norman and Connie Sloan.
