He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Walker and Reba Walker Robinson; his wife Carol "Jeanie" Walker; and his siblings, Dana Walker, Lonnie "Bill" Walker, David Walker, Tom Walker and Faye Harding.
He is survived by: his daughters, Glenva Bailey (Tom) of Dunbar and Deanna Hendricks (James) of East Bank; his grandchildren, J. P. Taylor IV of Louisiana, Cody Taylor of St. Albans, Tyler Hendricks of East Bank and Dylan Hendricks (Sophia) of East Bank; and his siblings, Lovell Walker (Rose) of Hurricane, Wanda McGraw of Sissonville and Annie Shaffer of Cross Lanes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Center Society or Tunnels of Towers.
