Though Gloria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Donald Simmons and Lois Della Williams; her daughter Melissa Dawn Hannan; and her brother Harry Donald Simmons Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Darla Lattea; her grandchildren, Garrett, Logan Lattea and Allyssa Lattea; and her siblings, Judy Bowling, JoAnn Birdsong, Belva Brogan, James "Jimmy" Simmons and Mike Bell.
