She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Cavender and Sadie Eden Cavender of Charleston; her son Michael Ray Ervin of Dunbar; and her siblings, Earl Cavender of Charleston and Jessie Thurman of Georgia.
She is survived by : her children, Karen Thomas of Ravenswood, Robert Ervin of Dunbar and John Ervin of Charleston; her siblings, Lessie Mayberry of Charleston and Arnold Cavender (Onie) of Ravenswood; and her grandchildren, Brian Ervin of Charleston, Chassidy Ervin of Charleston, Amanda Ervin of Charleston, Collin Struble of Stevensville Michigan and Cody Struble of Ravenswood. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
