He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Howard and Delores Lovejoy Allen; his wife Mary E. Allen of Dunbar; his children, Sally Sigman (Wes) of Chesapeake, Daniel Moore (Jennifer) of Dunbar and Rebekah Moore; his brother Rick Allen of Daniels; his nephews, Ricky (Julie) and Caleb; his niece Emma Allen of Beaver; his grandchildren, Abel Sigman of Chesapeake and Audrey Moore of Marmet; and his close friend Damon Caudill (Kim) of Chesapeake.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff's honor and memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Hurricane's HELP fund.
