In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Marie Jo leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Marie Jo may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Wilson and Dassel P. Wilson; and her son Richard O. McGhee II. She is survived by: her husband Richard O. McGhee of Dunbar; her grandchildren, Kristina Dodd (Robert Wiley), Jeremy McGhee and Nicholas McGhee (Deanna); and her great grandchildren, Devyn Dodd (Grace Schebek), Leo McGhee, Owen McGhee and Chloe McGhee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dunbar First Baptist Church (311 16th St, Dunbar, WV 25064). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
