She was predeceased by: her parents, Watha J. Allen and Bessie A. Allen; and her sister Peggy J. Conner. She is survived by: her husband Fred Smith; her daughter Tammy Shamblin; her grandsons, Bryan Shamblin (Amanda) and Ben Shamblin (Niky); and her son-in-law Dwayne Shamblin. She is also survived by her kitty crew, and many friends.
