It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Carpenter of Dunbar, West Virginia, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hestel "Corky" Carpenter and Elizabeth Carpenter Brewer; his wife Emma Hoover Carpenter; his brothers, Thomas Carpenter and Ken Carpenter of Ft. Collins, CO; and his stepfather Denver Brewer.
He is survived by: his son Richard W. Carpenter of Phoenix, AZ; and his sister Janet Carpenter Runion (Bobby) of Sissonville. He is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
